Drexel University is a comprehensive research University located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the East Coast of the United States. Drexel granted its first graduate degree in 1927. Since then, countless CEOs, astronauts, researchers, and leaders across all industries have achieved their professional goals by earning their graduate degree at Drexel University. With over 120 graduate programs, we have a path for every interest.

At the College of Engineering, we have over 17 full-time Masters of Science (MS) degree programs and 9 Doctoral (PhD) degree programs in technical and management areas including: electrical and computer engineering,materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil,architectural and environmental engineering, telecommunications and cybersecurity, engineering management and systems engineering. Drexel University is one of the only Engineering Colleges that offers a graduate Cooperative education (Coop) program that places students in local area businesses. What this means is, you can earn money and gain experience as a part of your academic program.

Students in our graduate programs have an opportunity to work side by side with world class researchers discovering new technologies.  Our classes are taughtby faculty researchers and experts in their respective fields.  Many of our graduate students attend conferences and present academic papers. We have a large and supportive graduate community with over half of our graduate students coming from outsidethe US. 

Drexel University is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the East Coast of the United States midway between New York Cityand Washington DC.  As America’s 5th largest city, Philadelphia is a great place to live as a college student. It is home to major universities and numerous manufacturers.  Our campus is located a section called University City where science and innovation come together.  Our neighbors are the University of Pennsylvania and University of the Sciences. We are also home to the Philadelphia Science Festival. Drexel University is located less than 30 minutes from the Philadelphia international airport and 30th Street Train station – a major transportation hub on the east coast of the United States.
