这位同学选择教育专业是因为她认为“教育”决定着全人类的文明发展，是一份崇高的追求，美国有诸多世界顶尖大学和研究中心，她希望自己接受美国的高等教育学后，结合中西文化，从而致力于中国教育领域的发展。

One of our 12th graders has been admitted to the Education department at Clark University with a $5000 scholarship. The reason why she chooses education department is based on her personal experience. United States has many of the world’s top universities and research centers. As a result, she hopes that she could accept high quality education combining east and west and bring back to China.

克拉克大学是一所世界一流的以文科为主的私立研究型大学，美国第一所完全是研究生院的大学，也是美国最早提供研究生课程的大学之一。

Clark University is a world-class liberal arts-based university, the first graduate College in the United States which was the first to provide graduate courses in the United States.

克拉克大学崇尚小班教学，平均每班上课人数仅为25人，99%以上教师拥有博士或以上学位。学校的海因兹.沃纳学院是全美最顶尖的心理学院之一。该校颁发的地理学博士亦位居全美各大学之冠。克拉克大学在2016年U.S. News全美大学综合排名中位列第75名，属全美一级国家级大学。

Like many small aristocratic universities, Clark University advocates small class sizes. The average number per classes is only 25 people. Also, more than 99% of professors have doctorates or above. The school’s Heinz Werner College is one of the nation’s top psychology schools. The University of Geography also ranked the highest in the nation’s universities. Clark University ranked 75th in the United States in 2016 U.S. News National University which is a national level national university.

Clark university has many firsts in the academic field, the school’s first president G. Stanley Hall is the first person in the United States to obtain a Doctor of psychology, and he is also the founder of the American Association of Psychology; Professor A.A Michelson is the United States was the first person who won the Nobel Prize; Professor Robert Goddard did the research and successfully launched the first liquid fuel rocket and is known as the father of space.
