途西教育讲座罗彻斯特理工学院10月14日

途西教育非常高兴地通知大家：来自纽约的罗彻斯特理工学院（RIT）国际外联部副主任 Jody Lehr Waite，将于10月14日(周二)，在北京途西办公室举办一次专场讲座。RIT位居北美地区大学排名前十，尽管名曰“理工”类院校，除了科技学科，其还拥有人文科学、艺术设计及商科专业。在RIT，最具特色的学术经历就是带薪实习。这样的实习既可以得到薪水，又可以有全职工作的经验；但也根据专业不同而有着不一样的要求。对于有意深造硕士学位的学生，RIT在20个不同的领域提供本硕连读项目，学生将有机会在五年内（通常情况下）同时获得学士学位和硕士学位。

Due West Presents: Rochester Institute of Technology on October 14

Due West is pleased to announce that Jody Lehr Waite, the Associate Director of International Outreach for the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York, will be holding a private event at the Due West office in Beijing on Tuesday, October 14th. RIT is ranked in the Top 10 of northern U.S. regional universities and even though “technology” is in its name, the school is known for more than just its science and technology programs – RIT also has programs in the liberal arts, art and design, and business. An important part of the academic experience at RIT is the co-op programs. Co-ops are paid, full-time work experiences and they are either required or encouraged, depending on the major. For students also interested in pursuing a Master’s degree, RIT offers accelerated degree programs in almost 20 different areas, where students have the opportunity of earning a bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree (usually) in five years.

Students and their families are invited to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn about the Rochester Institute of Technology first hand from a representative of the school. Whether students are familiar with RIT or just learning about the school for the first time, Due West encourages students to use this great chance to speak face to face with Ms. Waite and have their questions answered.
