Washington and Lee University （华盛顿与李大学）是美国著名的私立文理大学。该大学成立于1749年，为美国第九个最古老的大学，座落与美国东部的弗吉尼亚州列克星敦市。在2015年US News美国全国文理学院排名中，华盛顿与李大学名列第14。
 
招聘条件：
1. 硕士或硕士以上学历（对外汉语专业、语言学、应用语言学、二语习得、中文或相关专业）
2. 有海外教学经验或有教授海外学生语言课的经验
3. 标准普通话；能熟练地用英语和学生、同事交流
4. 性格开朗热情、工作积极努力；乐于接受新的教育理念；有团队合作精神
 
工作内容
1. 教授一年级与三年级中文课 （共两个学期，每个学期两门课）
2. 1年级：每周一、三、五上课（二、四为助教上课；与助教协调工作）
3年级：每周一、三、五上课
每节课为55分钟；相当于每周6小时左右课时；另需每周3小时Office hour让学生可以来提问、练习。备课、批改考卷等时间老师自行安排。
3. 无其他行政工作要求
福利待遇：
1. 工资以一门课为单位，每门课6700美元。两个学期共4门课，一共26800美元。
2. 工作时间：如上所述，上课时间为每周6个小时；Office Hour每周3个小时。备课、批改、跟学生在Office Hour之外谈话等时间由老师自己掌握。
3. 合同为期一个学年（今年9月到明年的5月），老师上课的任务实际上4月底就结束了。如果我们明年还需要老师并觉得招聘到的老师不错，还可以再续约。续约也是按学年来续。
4. 学校支持J1签证。J1一般可在美工作最多5年。

Part-Time Renewable Chinese Lecturer
 
The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at Washington and Lee University invites applications for a part-time Chinese lecturer position to begin September 10, 2015. This position is annually renewable, if there is need. Responsibilities include teaching Chinese language at all levels. Qualifications: MA in Chinese, Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, linguistics, or related fields, native or near-native fluency in Chinese, and has demonstrated excellence in teaching.
