秋季招生宣讲会巴德学院携手斯坦福大学加州大学伯克利分校和鲍德温学院2018中国行日程安排和报名链接

巴德学院将在2018年8月30日至9月12日期间与斯坦福大学、加州大学伯克利分校和鲍德温学院招生办代表们在中国举办招生宣讲会和展览。活动城市按日程先后顺序包括北京、昆明、成都、重庆、长沙、武汉、上海、南京、广州、深圳。

Bard College will be hosting joint public information sessions and mini-fairs with Stanford University, University of California-Berkeley, and Bowdoin College in China from Aug. 30th to Sept. 12th in the following cities: Beijing, Kunming, Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha, Wuhan, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen.

宣讲会将涵盖四所学校的单独介绍，包括了学校的招生政策、国际生录取要求、申请审核过程等信息。

Admission officers from each school will introduce the admission policy, international students requirements, application process etc. respectively.

Shawn Moore – Bard College

Shawn is Bard College’s Representative for Asia and the Director of the Bard Early College at Houde Academy. He has been based in Beijing since the fall of 2014. He concurrently works as a professional violinist, teaching and performing inChina, the US and other locations throughout the world. Shawn is passionate about languages and communication in general – be it musical, linguistic or otherwise. He is a graduate of Bard College and Yale University.

Shari Quinn – University of California, Berkeley

Shari W. Quinn is an Assistant Directorof Undergraduate Admissions and International Specialist for China with the University of California, Berkeley. She is a leader in education and former college instructor with over 18 years experience in higher education and a strong background in enrollment management, strategic partnerships, international student recruitment and student retention. She has been a guest speaker in over 100 high schools and speaks to large audiences at various educational conferences. Shari is passionate about creating seamless pathwaysto help students reach their educational dreams.

Michael Colbert – Bowdoin College

MichealColbert is a graduate of Bowdoin college and has been an admissions counselorat the school since 2017.

James Shirvell – Stanford University

James is an Assistant Director of Admission on the International and Internal Relations team at Stanford University. He is Stanford’s territory manager for China. He focuses on many internationalinitiatives, as well as projects with other departments at Stanford, including the School of Humanities and Sciences and the athletics department. James joined Stanford after spending two years in Singapore, where he worked as a Dean’s Fellow to help create Yale-NUS College, the first liberal arts college in the country. A graduate of Yale University, James earned his undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and was the captain of the Track and Field team.
