福特汉姆大学商学院MS项目19申请季文书新变化

 
在美国纽约市，除了举世瞩目纽约大学和哥伦比亚大学，还有一所大学也是光彩熠熠，是这座城市引以为傲的顶级私立研究性学府，它就是福特汉姆大学。前身是成立于1841年的纽约天主教会区的圣约翰学院（St. John’s College），1907年学校更名为现在的名字。

 
纽约这座城市就是福特汉姆大学的校园~ 三个校区分布在纽约各处，分别是位于曼哈顿中城的林肯中心校区（Lincon Center），位于布朗克斯的玫瑰山主校区（Rose Hill）以及位于市郊West Harrison县的韦斯切斯特校区（Westchester）。 
 
其中，备受国际生青睐的Gabelli 商学院（Gabelli school of Business）就坐落于林肯中心校区。 此校区地理位置优越，位于哥伦布圆环，步行2分钟是购物中心，步行3分钟就可以到达中央公园。

Gabelli 商学院项目申请19入学季共有四轮截止时间（针对国际生）， 其中最早一轮截止是10月中旬，最晚为三月末提交网申。

商僧重点提醒各位小僧的是今年商学院文书新变化：
其中essay1 要求在100字内阐述申请人的长短期职业目标。并且短期职业目标为完成学位2-4年内的职业发展路径；长期职业目标限定在7-10后的职业定位，而不是通常指的终身的职业发展目标。
 
Essay I: What are your immediate post-graduate short-term goals and long terms goals? (100 word limit)
 
Please note: Short term goals are considered 2 – 4 years after you have completed your MS degree and long term goals are considered 7 – 10 years after you have completed your MS degree.
 
Essay2 为二选一。 字数要求350字。A选择需要在商学院设置的众多学生组织和协会中挑选你中意的一个，阐述原因以及如何发挥自己的领导力技能。B选择是 对申请人来说产生重要影响的一首歌，或艺术品或一本书。
 
Essay II: We’d like to know a little more about you. Please respond to one of the following two questions (350 word limit):
Question A: Please choose one of Gabelli’s graduate student clubs that you would like to join. Why did you select that specific club and how would you use your leadership skills once you are involved?
Question B: Identify a song, artwork, or a book that has influenced you significantly, and please describe its importance to you.
 
此外任选的文书，小僧们可以提供在申请中未提及的其他信息，例如职业或学业中的异常情况，量化技能，或者再次申请的申请人的进步。
 
Optional Essay: Use this essay to share information that is not presented elsewhere in your application. For example, explanation of employment gaps, academic aberrations, quantitative abilities, improvements to your candidacy if you are a re-applicant. (100 word limit)
