入学要求

1）学位要求

MArch I

Student in the “first professional,” three-year, 90-credit hour degree track have a variety of backgrounds, some with prior studies in architecture and some without any formal art or design studies. This includes such undergraduate majors as architecture and architectural studies, art, business, economics, city planning, engineering, industrial design, landscape architecture, literature, psychology, studio arts, and other fields. 

MArch II

Students in the “second professional,” two-year, 60-credit hour track have a pre-professional undergraduate degree in architecture and a strong portfolio of 6 to 8 semesters of undergraduate architecture studio coursework.

The M. Arch. I in A H

The Three-Year, 91 credit hour track with an Architecture Health concentration is for those admitted into the Architecture Health Program at the time of admission. It is comparable to the non-specialized M. Arch. I track. Degree candidates are approved by the director of the Architecture Health program. The First Year of the M. Arch. I A H degree track is the same for all M. Arch. I students and the same prerequisites and expectations apply. In Year Two, students move into the A H studio and specialized coursework. 

The M. Arch. II in A H

The Two-Year, 61 credit hour track with an Architecture Health concentration is for students accepted into the Architecture Health Program at the time of admission with an undergraduate degree in architecture or another acceptable pre-professional, undergraduate design degree. It is comparable to the non-specialized M. Arch. II track although coursework, both studios and seminars, is focused on architecture and health issues. Degree candidates are approved by the director of the Architecture Health program. The same prerequisites and expectations as noted above for M. Arch. II track apply.

MS

The Master of Science in Architecture degree is earned for a minimum of 30 credit hours (24-credit hours plus 6 credit hour thesis) and is intended for students who hold a M. Arch. degree and who have a research proposal that fits with the research agenda or expertise of a Major Advisor whom agrees to work with the student for the duration of their studies.

MRUD

This Three-Semester program expects interested students to start with design skills such as may have been developed in a Bachelor or Master program in architecture or landscape architecture, or other undergraduate or graduate degree in which the applicant has developed relevant manual and digital representational abilities. 

MLA I

The 3-year first professional degree is designed to provide students with a professional education and also an opportunity for research and/or in-depth project work. Because students hold bachelor’s degrees from an array of backgrounds it is necessary for them to gain landscape architectural skills. Those proficiency courses are also required for professional accreditation.

MLA II

Students in the two-year Second Professional degree must hold a five-year Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. Students with other accredited design degrees such as a Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH.) and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture (B.S.L.A., generally a four-year degree) will move into the First Professional program but will be allowed to complete the work in less than three-years depending on individual backgrounds and experiences.

托福90分；TOEFL code 5111

GRE Required；GRE code 5111

建议托福成绩，因为雅思成绩会被转换成托福成绩作为比较。

雅思6.5分可以转化为79至93的托福成绩，然而79分是不可接受的，而93分是可以接受的。

1）需要做WES认证

Students from China: for WES evaluation, see http://www.wes.org/students/chinese/index.asp. GPA Conversion: International applicants must self-report their GPA on the online application in the US 4.0 grading system. We will not make the conversion calculations for you. If your transcript does not indicate your GPA in the 4.0 systems, then you must use the unofficial self-reported GPA calculator from WES or a similar calculator. You must also attach unofficial transcripts.

The portfolio must be no larger than 8.5″ x 11″ or A4 to be included with other portfolios being reviewed. (There is no minimum or maximum page requirement.) Portfolios exceeding 8.5″ x 11″ or A4 may not be reviewed. Although other presentations may be acceptable, the typical portfolio is a spiral-bound booklet, soft cover booklet, or hardcover book.

1）面试

In order to ascertain language abilities, international applicants may be requested to participate in a Skype interview. (Free software for Skype is available at http://www.skype.com/).

2）WES (World Educational Services)认证成绩单

Clemson是少数需要提交WES认证成绩单的学校。

认证顺序是：

注册http://www.wes.org—申请—在线提交本科官方成绩单至教育部cdgdc认证—由cdgdc寄给WES认证—寄送至Clemson

全部过程加上邮寄时间和非工作日等大约需要一个半月时间，所以最晚11月底一定要开始认证。

（WES认证时政治体育等成绩不算在内，所以认证完GPA通常会变高）

3）申请材料和作品集需要分开邮寄，作品集寄给The School of Architecture，其他材料寄给Clemson
