活动0407哥伦比亚大学巴纳德学院校长首访中国

4月初，哥伦比亚大学巴纳德学院第八任校长希恩·莉亚·贝洛克（Sian Leah Beilock）将访问中国，并出席于4月7日举办的哥伦比亚大学巴纳德学院北京见面会。这是贝洛克校长自去年七月上任以来的首次中国之行。（点击此处查阅希恩·莉亚·贝洛克校长的详细介绍）

本次北京见面会上，贝洛克校长将与哥伦比亚大学的校友、家长和朋友们分享巴纳德学院的最新发展情况和她对巴纳德学院前景的展望，讲述哥伦比亚大学和巴纳德学院之间的独特联系。同时，贝洛克校长还将分享自己的学术成果，她的研究专注于探索女孩及成年女性如何在数学和科学领域获得成功，以及儿童和成人如何（特别是在压力下）发挥他们最大的学习和表现潜能。

哥伦比亚大学巴纳德学院校友、京东公益基金会荣誉理事长章泽天也将出席当天见面会并致开场词。

Join Barnard and Columbia alumni, parents, and friends for a reception to welcome the 8th president of Barnard College, Columbia University, Sian Leah Beilock.

 

President Beilock will meet with Barnard and Columbia graduates, parents, and friends to give an update on Barnard College, share her vision for the future, and speak about the unique relationship between Barnard and Columbia. She will also give an overview of her research focusing on how to promote success in math and science for women and girls, and how children and adults learn and perform at their best – especially under stress.

 

We are delighted that former Barnard student Zhang Zetian will join us to introduce President Beilock.

The event is supported by Columbia Global Centers | Beijing. All members of the Columbia community are welcome to attend. This event is complimentary but space is limited. To reserve your spot, kindly register by Tuesday, April 3.
